About

My name is Jaclyn and I am an Integrative Psychotherapist at qualified at Post-Graduate Level, and a registered member of the BACP.  Prior to my work as a therapist I was a Psychology teacher for 18 years.

Being an Integrative Psychotherapist can mean different things to different people, for me it means that I am able to incorperate different theoretical angles into our work to help me to relate and listen to you, in the way that you need me to.

I offer a confidential, empathetic space with no judgement what so ever; this will be your time to bring what you need to, and possibly issues that you have been apprehensive to say out loud. I will not try to advise you, rather listen to you and work with you to help you in your process of finding the comfort and peace you are seeking.

I have experience in working with a range of clients of various ages (16+) and backgrounds with a wide range of presenting issues.

Areas that I have experience in working with includes, but is not limited by:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression/Low Mood
  • Trauma (past and present)
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Bereavement
  • Relationship issues
  • Stress
  • Feeling Overwhelmed/Feelings of not coping

My Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy
  • Certificate in Couples Counselling
  • BSc (Hons) Psychology with Counselling Studies
